Gothenburg's inner city property developments were a big drawcard for visitors at the region's stand during MIPIM 2017. The offering of projects is unique, according to Business Region Göteborg’s Henrik Einarsson.
“The region’s offensive urban development plans really stand out. No other city can offer 5 million square metres of land for development in downtown areas,” says Einarsson, head of the establishment and investment department at Business Region Göteborg.
“When investors see high growth in the region and extensive infrastructure projects, the image of an attractive region is even clearer.”
Mipim 2017 is soon drawing to a close. Over the past four days Gothenburg’s stand has been well visited by both Swedish and international property professionals. Its two meeting rooms have been occupied more or less constantly throughout the event.
Some of the highlights from day 3 included a talk from Martin Öbo, Property Director at City of Gothenburg, on the vision for property development in Gothenburg; as well as a rerun presentation of the Drive Me project by Per Österström, Manager Automotive & Transportation at Business Region Göteborg.
